Our Story
Every great idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: scheduling is broken.
Here is a story of How a Cluttered Calendar Inspired us to Build a Solution That Saves Thousands of Hours.
Calendars haven’t changed in 50 years, but the way we work has become so much more complex. Distributed teams, multiple time zones, external stakeholders—none of it is handled by the colorful blocks on traditional calendars. Instead of helping, they create more stress and waste valuable time.
One morning, while working at Bill.com, I found myself staring at my chaotic calendar. I thought, “What am I doing with my life? Wasting hours trying to coordinate meetings?” External meetings were even worse—they could take weeks of back-and-forth emails to finalize. I realized something had to change.
I started looking for a solution but couldn’t find one. So, I decided to build it.
I quickly prototyped an idea and shared it with my colleagues and Lakshmi Chava (who would later become my co-founder). The excitement was contagious. A month later, I quit my job to focus on solving this problem.
I thought, “Three months, and I’ll change the world.”
Boy, was I wrong!
It took years, not months. But when we landed our first pilot customer—someone who believed in us so much they paid while we were still building—it validated all the hard work and laid the foundation for what is now TEAMCAL AI.
The real problem wasn’t just scheduling; it was the outdated tools we’ve been relying on. Google Calendar and Outlook don’t work together. They don’t respect focus hours, handle multiple time zones, or manage the complexity of today’s work. Scheduling has become unnecessarily complex, error-prone, and downright frustrating.
That’s why we built TEAMCAL AI and ADI Bot.
ADI Bot automates scheduling for internal teams, external stakeholders, and cross-time-zone coordination. Our Free Time Calendar turns scheduling into a one-click task, and our Voice AI enables hands-free scheduling in seconds. We’re not just saving time; we’re redefining collaboration.
