Among the wide range of fields that artificial intelligence is rapidly developing, AI image generator is one of the most fascinating. These tools are easy to use, you can easily generate artistic images by describing the scene with texts. For Stable Diffusion, you can train and fine-tune the model to make it highly customized and have control over the generation process. Adobe Firefly even offers feature called generative fill, where you can fill the selected area with contents that match the context of the image. AI image generators interpret text input through natural language processing (NLP). Then they use machine learning models that learn from extensive datasets to transform the input into final image results.

There are more AI-generated images can do than you can think of. They can seamlessly blend styles from different artworks, produce realistic landscapes, or even generate imaginative creatures or scenes that go against conventional imagination. There are so many industries that can benefit from AI images:

Film, gaming and other entertainments: AI image generators can be super efficient in generating scenes and characters. Before production, creators can use them to see the approximate turnouts of certain scenes and make changes accordingly without the effort of going long ways building everything up and tearing them down. There are still concerns raised about AI generated images though the possible benefits they can bring. The ownership and copyright of AI-generated images remain ambiguous. These contents are not copyright-protected, and there are no existing rules to protect artists whose work are taken for AI trainings. Thus attribution and licensing can be hard to decide. AI generated images can be manipulated to create deepfakes, posing risks to individual privacy and reputation. There are also huge problems related to bias. Images generated are based on the training data fed to those models. Biased training data may lead to biased results, underrepresenting and misrepresenting certain groups or features, then biased decisions will be made.

The results produced by current AI image generators are astonishing enough. We will progress and keep exploring to benefit from this technology as much as possible while figure all the ambiguities out.
